We will
arrange for a marriage licence. You will provide us with
the originals
or certified copies
of your birth
certificates,
your passports
and if you have been married previously, your divorce papers. If a widow
or a widower you need to provide
us with a
certified
copy of the death
certificate of your deceased spouse. We
will complete the forms, which you will sign. We will need one week's
notice to arrange this.
We will
transport the wedding party across the lagoon on our boat "Ida Maud" to
the island setting where the wedding will take place.
We will arrange
for either a Minister of Religion or a Justice of the Peace to conduct the
wedding ceremony. His or her fee is included in the price.
We will provide
flowers - head ei and long ei for the bride and groom plus the bridal
bouquet.
We will
construct the bridal wedding arch on the beach and decorate it with
flowers.
We can if
requested provide
a simple picnic style wedding breakfast after the ceremony out on the
lagoon island beach where you are married.
We will provide
1 bottle of sparkling white wine for the wedding toast.
We will provide
the two witnesses as prescribed by law.
A band,
dancers, musicians or singers. These can be arranged on a small scale but
at additional cost.
Alcoholic drinks
apart from the 1 x bottle of sparkling white wine we provide for the
wedding toast.
Photography. If
you require the services of a professional photographer, then this can be
arranged. Please understand that this is costly. An option is for you to
bring your own digital camera to make a record of your day. We will also
do our best with taking snapshots for you with our own digital camera but
the results are not guaranteed!
